Stroke Unit Nurse (m/f/d)

We are expanding our team and are looking for a Stroke Unit Nurse (m/f/d) with immediate effect

• Care and support of patients in the stroke unit, taking into account neurological characteristics
• Implementation and monitoring of vital parameters (e.g. blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation)
• Support and guidance in the rehabilitation of patients, especially in the case of speech and swallowing disorders
• Participation in the implementation of individual care plans and therapies, including the application of the Bobath concept and basal stimulation
• Close exchange with the interdisciplinary team (doctors, therapists, social workers) for optimal patient care
• Documentation of care processes and measures in accordance with legal requirements and quality standards
• Participation in further education and training to continuously expand professional competence

• Completed training as a nurse or a comparable qualification
• Experience in caring for neurological patients, ideally in a stroke unit
• Further training in stroke care or the willingness to complete it
• In-depth knowledge of the monitoring of neurological patients and the monitoring of vital signs
• Experience in dealing with speech and swallowing disorders
• Knowledge of the application of the Bobath concept and basal stimulation is an advantage
• High level of professional competence, empathy and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to undergo continuous training and take on responsibility
