Vice President - Head of Controlling OPU Pharma (m/f/d)

As Vice President - Head of Controlling Pharma (m/f/d), you will be the Finance Business Partner to the Head of OPU Pharma and his leadership team. In this role you will be critical in supporting the decision-making process by providing high-quality data and insights. You are responsible for all related financials, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, as well as inventory and CAPEX steering. This is a high-impact role that requires collaboration across multiple cross cultural teams and the ability to provide clear financial leadership to the Pharma Network with 7 manufacturing sites. In the same time you ensure a steady improvement of our Controlling processes, systems, and guidelines. You will focus to stop nonvalue adding activities in your organization and simplify, standardize, and automatize the remaining processes by making best use of our systems.The role is reporting to the CFO Global Technical Operations.

Your assignments

• Finance Business Partner to the Head of OPU Pharma and his Leadership Team

• Act as financial advisor and provide financial guidance

• Provide financial insights and decision support

• Ensuring financial processes & compliance

• Steering financial results to target

• Developing and implementation of financial concepts

• Provide fact-based analyses and strategic recommendations to senior management

• Interacting with various stakeholders beyond OPU Pharma on different levels

• Develop your organization to the next generation Controlling organization

• Member of the Technical Operations Finance & OPU Pharma Leadership Teams

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field

• 10+ years’ experience in controlling, ideally as Manufacturing Controller

• Strong expertise in Manufacturing Controlling including maintaining COGs flat, delivering profitable growth, making best use of NWC and driving CAPEX based on IRR and Payback expectations

• Ability to challenge partners while maintaining productive relationships

• Proven experience in a similar global roles

• Comfortable working in a multinational matrixed environment, challenging the status quo, and driving initiatives with strong communication skills

• Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI knowledge is a plus

• Fluent in English; German is a plus
