Project Manager Accounting & Governance (m/f/d) - Shape the future of our finance department

Are you ready to take the next step and want to actively contribute your in-depth auditing expertise to a globally active group? In this central position, you will play a key role in the Accounting Governance team. You will work directly with the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) and drive strategic projects to future-proof our group-wide reporting.

Your tasks:

As a driver and coordinator of major initiatives, you will play an active role in shaping change.

• Strategic design: You will actively shape the further development of our accounting operating model and put new standards into practice.

• Driving force: You implement strategic topics directly from the CAO's agenda and act as a driving force for Group-wide projects.

• Leadership at eye level: You prepare the basis for decision-making for top management and committees.

• Project responsibility: You take on the coordination of complex projects in the accounting environment and ensure smooth implementation.

• Benchmark and analysis: You analyze and improve processes, observe international peers and derive best practices for our Group.

• IFRS expertise: You are our expert for analyzing changes in international accounting, evaluating them and managing the Group-wide implementation of new standards.

• Interface and partner: You will act as a competent contact person, support the maintenance of our auditor relations and monitor the independence of our auditor.

Your profile:

You are not a pure numbers person, but an analytical forward thinker with drive.

• Background: You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in auditing (ideally Big4) or a comparable group position.

• Expertise: You have a sound technical university education and excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting.

• Project experience: You are used to coordinating complex projects and have proven your project management skills.

• Communication: You are a strong team player who can communicate complex issues clearly and precisely - in German and English.

• Tools & Technology: You are proficient in common Office applications and have a strong affinity for using new technologies to automate and optimize processes.

• Personality: You are characterized by analytical thinking, a structured way of working and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
