Senior Manager Management Report (m/d/w)

Tasks

• Coordination and timely preparation of the Group management report including the figures section, development of texts and formulations and coordination with the respective stakeholders

• Further development of management reporting to ensure efficient and effective reporting and preparation of corresponding proposals

• Preparation of management reports for individual companies or introduction of a combined management report

• Monitoring and reviewing exemption regulations (in collaboration with specialist departments)

• Supporting the further development and preparation of external financial reporting

• Monitoring of relevant standards, e.g. for management reporting

• Topic Matter Expert for relevant standards, such as IFRS 8 "Segment Reporting"

• Relevant projects in the area of responsibility

Job requirements

• Degree in business administration or business law

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting/an accounting-related function in a global corporation or international auditing firm

• Writing skills, clear and concise expression, ability to describe complex issues in an understandable way and to write texts with perfect spelling and grammar

• Very good knowledge of IFRS and HGB with regard to management reporting, expertise in relation to ESMA, IFRS Practice Statement 1, IDW, DRSC guidelines

• Analytical skills and key figure logic

• Planning and forecasting methodology

• Technology and data skills: e.g. XBRL tagging / ESEF, automation & workflow tools, MS office

• Very good knowledge of German and English (one of the two languages at native speaker level, the other at least C1 equivalent)

• Accurate, structured, independent working style
