Nursing Specialist Ward Manager IMC Ward (m/f/d)

As a manager in middle management, we are looking for you at Herzzentrum Leipzig as a committed and experienced nurse / nurse specialist / health and nursing professional / ward manager to lead the nursing team of the cardiac surgery IMC ward(s).

It is important for us to decide together with you whether you take over the management of a single IMC ward or both wards.

• You will manage the nursing team of the intermediate care wards "IC-A" (post-operative care of patients after coronary and heart valve operations) and / or "IC-B" (care of patients before and after heart or lung transplants)

• You coordinate the deployment of staff and support your nursing team in the development of professional and social skills
• You take on the further development and design of processes and structures in your area of responsibility
• You will ensure the implementation of corporate and clinical objectives (e.g. Group transparency policy, HELIOS management code, checklists, internal reviews) in your area of responsibility
• You promote an open and constructive error culture and lead your team in an appreciative and respectful manner
• You actively contribute to the further development and implementation of care-specific topics with reference to legal requirements and national expert standards

You are a trained healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d)

You have several years of professional experience, if possible with management responsibility

You have completed specialist training in anesthesia and intensive care

Ideally, you have completed a management course or a degree in nursing management or are willing to complete a management course or degree

You have a talent for organization, the ability to deal with conflict and strong social skills and are willing to collaborate across professional groups

Legally required proof of immunization against measles

A permanent employment contract with attractive remuneration in accordance with the company collective agreement and 30 days' vacation plus additional vacation for shift work
