For the Helios Klinikum Schwelm we are looking for a Senior Physician Trauma Surgery (m/f/d) with a focus on arthroscopy to start as soon as possible.

What you can expect

  • Medically excellent patient care in a broad-based specialist department for trauma surgery and operative orthopaedics with various certifications (including RTZ, ZFSmax, EPZmax)
  • Independent performance of elective and emergency surgical procedures with a focus on knee/shoulder arthroscopy, sports traumatology and cruciate ligament surgery
  • Supporting the conceptual development of the specialist department
  • Supervision and training of doctors in further training and medical students

What you bring with you

  • Specialist competence in orthopaedics and trauma surgery with relevant professional experience; additional qualification in special trauma surgery or orthopaedic surgery desirable
  • Personal focus on arthroscopy (preferably knee and/or shoulder), sports traumatology and cruciate ligament surgery desirable
  • Valid Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certificate
  • Willingness to participate in the accident surgery background service and the district's emergency doctor service
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles
