In this responsible role as a Pain Nurse (m/f/d), you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team and make a significant contribution to optimizing patient care in the field of acute pain therapy.
For our acute pain service in the Clinic for Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine and Perioperative Pain Therapy at the Erfurt site, we are looking for you as a Pain Nurse (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Independent monitoring and checking of pain catheters and pain pumps
Carrying out pain rounds and providing advice including assessment of pain status and documentation and care of patients with acute post-operative pain
Co-responsible for the professional and practical implementation of pain therapy in accordance with the in-house pain concept
Checking and adjusting pain pumps in accordance with SOP
Checking and care of pain catheters, including changing dressings and assessing the position and possible complications
Training and advising nursing staff on the wards
Supporting therapy adjustments in close coordination with the medical service and ward teams
Participation in quality and safety measures (e.g. audits, documentation review) for the continuous further development of our in-house pain concept
Completed training as a nurse (m/f/d) with further training as a pain nurse and sound knowledge of PCA pumps and epidural analgesia procedures
Willingness to work in various areas (central OR, FMK OR and in the recovery rooms, etc.) as well as routine in interdisciplinary cooperation with various specialist disciplines
Experience in dealing with electronic documentation systems
Committed, team player, organizational talent and enjoy working independently
Patient:oriented work
Interest in further training and willingness to take on training tasks
Empathy and sensitivity as well as a stable personality
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
A salary in line with the collective agreement and 30 days' vacation with a 5-day week, in line with the Helios doctors' pay scale
A full-time position, with a working week of 38.5 hours
