Senior Manager - Workday Application Management Services (m/f/d)

Then take on a key position and step into the IT organization of a globally operating healthcare group!

In this role, you will take over the strategic management of the Workday Application Operation for our customer Fresenius SE and Fresenius Kabi. You will also manage the setup of the Application Management Services for Workday Operation, run and stabilize the engagement, implementation and rollout of further enhancements and systems with responsibility for the budget and results.

Your assignments

• You build up the Workday Application Management Services for Fresenius from the ground up: Establishing the optimal setup, choosing the ideal partner and making it function.

• You oversee the Workday Application Operation for the organization, ensuring its reliability, security and alignment with business goals.

• You lead the Workday Application Management Services team disciplinary and functionally, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

• You work with external service partners, managing relationships and ensuring compliance with established SLAs for support, maintenance, and system enhancements.

• You create, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs to measure the performance of service partners, ensuring service quality and prompt issue resolution.

• You design innovative HR IT solution concepts and configure them according to our needs and the corporate strategy, based on careful process analyses.

• You will manage the budget for major IT projects and coordinate HR IT services, such as the Application Management Services of Workday. This includes stakeholder management and management of suppliers and vendors.

Your profile

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, economics or IT-related career experience and background

• Demonstrated success in setting-up, managing and leading Workday Application Management Services engagement for a large global enterprise customer

• At least 10+ years of experience in managing HR IT projects (e.g. Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Concur) as Service Delivery Manager with a strong emphasis on design, architecture, consulting and configuration

• Experience in collaborating with external suppliers, who can interact confidently with senior management and relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of services to Corporate HR

• Disciplinary leadership abilities and intercultural competence, who preferably has experience in leading virtual teams

• General management skills with HR processes and solutions as well as IT processes according to ITIL, including project management

• High proficiency in English (level C1 or higher), German language skills are an asset

• A team player with excellent communication skills and presentation skills
