As Head of BI Analytics & Insights, you will lead the strategic direction, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence, enabling data‑driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. You shape a modern analytics landscape, integrate advanced data solutions, and transform complex information into actionable insights that improve operational performance and healthcare delivery.
You partner closely with IT, data science, operations, and executive leadership to ensure that BI initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities. In this role, you guide the adoption of advanced analytics, strengthen data governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of insight‑driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the enterprise BI and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You lead the design and implementation of scalable analytics frameworks, unify reporting standards, and promote the effective use of BI tools across the business. As the leader of the BI organization, you ensure high-quality reporting, reliable data delivery, and the development of innovative analytics capabilities.
Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation
Oversee the development of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and data visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making. Working closely with data science teams, you ensure that insights are actionable, accessible, and impactful for clinical, operational, and business stakeholders.
Data Integration, Governance & Compliance
Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to integrate data across complex healthcare and life‑science systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility. You ensure that BI solutions comply with all relevant healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, GxP) and champion a strong data governance framework that aligns business, regulatory, and IT requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Organizational Enablement
Partner with senior executives, business leaders, and operational teams to identify analytics needs, guide key decisions, and support strategic initiatives. You drive analytics adoption across the organization by enabling training, fostering knowledge-sharing, and advocating data-driven culture.
Innovation, Continuous Improvement & Market Scanning
Monitor advancements in BI technologies, industry trends, and emerging analytics capabilities. You proactively recommend enhancements to strengthen the organization’s analytical maturity and lead initiatives that modernize BI platforms, tools, and data models.
Qualifications & Experience
You bring extensive leadership and analytics experience, including:
10+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or data management in healthcare or similarly complex environments
8+ years interacting with top‑management stakeholders and leading distributed teams
A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
Very good knowledge in SAP BI/BW BackEnd technology (SAP BW on HANA, BW/4, Datasphere, Databricks)
Good knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA (MM, FI, CO, PP, SD) as well as in SAC Planning and BI Integrated Planning
Certifications in BI & Analytics or compliance frameworks (FAIR, GxP, GDPR, etc.)
A track record of successfully delivering complex BI projects in large, data‑intensive organizations
The ability to navigate matrixed organizations and align governance, business strategy, and IT requirements
Skills & Competencies
You excel in managing complex healthcare IT landscapes, integrating BI tools with diverse platforms, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, enabling you to translate data insights into meaningful business actions and guide senior stakeholders effectively.
