(Senior) Manager Medical-Scientific Events & Education (m/f/d)

As a (Senior) Manager Medical-Scientific Events & Education within Medical Scientific Affairs Education & Training, with a focus on Pharma & Nutrition you will be responsible for the conception, organization, and execution of global medical-scientific training events for external healthcare professionals. Your goal will be to implement medical-scientific content and rationales of our therapeutic platforms to strengthen and ensure excellence in clinical nutrition. 

Event and Project Management 

• Plan, execute, and follow up on company events, scientific symposia, and training events (including webinars/webcasts) for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in Pharma and Nutrition

Platform Management 

• Ensure data availability and communicate with internal stakeholders. 

• Develop, administer and maintain internal and external, global, multidisciplinary communication platforms, including training and communication for users

Event Development 

• Develop and implement innovative digital, hybrid and live event formats

• Design, publish, and communicate digital learning media (e.g., videos, infographics, podcasts, e-learning formats)

• Foster Event and learning Media promotion internally and externally

Process Management 

• Ensure compliance with guidelines, processes (including compliance, contract law, copyright, and ordering), and budget specifications

• Collaborate cross-functionally to keep applied guidelines updated 

• Develop efficient and transparent event management processes and support the multifunctional team

• Work with platform managers to enhance web-based communication platforms and ensure an integrative communication strategy

Trends and Technology 

• Conduct market observation and evaluation, including trend and competitor analysis, to optimize event strategies

• Continuously evaluate and implement forward-looking technologies in the event area (e.g., AI)

Regional Support 

• Support the creation and adherence to "Blueprints" for event formats, branding, and communication

• Assist in organizing and designing regional event formats

• Ensure transparent communication structures and project management for events while establishing and strengthening the use of digital communication channels  

• Establish external communication and promotion concepts (e.g., social media, web platforms)

• Completed studies in business administration, a degree in media management or equivalent 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in project and event management for medical-scientific training events for healthcare professionals

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on global projects with international, cross-functional teams

• High IT affinity and creativity

• Experience in the administration of web platforms and web design (e.g., TYPO 3, Adobe)

• Excellent organizational skills and an independent, structured working style

• Strong team player with excellent intercultural communication skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in international, multifunctional teams
• High level of commitment, resilience, flexibility, and agility

• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are an advantage
