Frequently asked questions

We want the process of submitting your application to be as efficient and transparent as possible for you. We find that the best way to do this is to submit applications online. It makes sense for you and Fresenius because:

  • Your application can be processed quickly and professionally. Applications by mail can take a long time. With online applications you don’t have to write letters and we don’t have to waste time entering your details into the computer.
  • You save money as you don’t have to get special application documents printed or pay for stamps.
  • You receive quick confirmation that we’ve received your application.
  • Your application can be forwarded immediately to the right people in personnel and specialist departments.
  • You can ask at any time how your application is coming along.

Filling out your application will only take about 10 to 15 minutes. And it goes without saying that you can attach your own documents to the form you complete online.

Of course, if it’s not possible for you to submit your application over the Internet, we would still like to hear from you – simply send us a hard copy of your application, or send us an email.

Yes, you can submit an unsolicited application to Fresenius. Simply go to unsolicited application.

Your unsolicited application will be entered into a central pool of potential candidates. For this reason, we would ask you to be as specific as possible in your cover letter about the area(s) you’d like to work in, and your special interests or specialist knowledge. There are also boxes on the online application form for you to tell us about the area you’d prefer working in. This also makes it easier for us to compare our openings to your profile. If your profile is a good fit, we’ll pass your application on to a specialist department.

If there’s no current opening to match your personal profile, we keep your application in our pool of potential candidates. We regularly go through applicants again and will contact you to ask if you’re still interested in a position at Fresenius. It goes without saying that we will delete your details immediately if you ask us to.

Yes. If you’re interested in more than one position or part of the Company, simply apply for each job by entering your profile once into the online applicant management system. The system allows you to apply for more than one location or position.

Yes, you can withdraw your application at any time. Simply log in to our online applicant management system with your username and password. Go to the “Your application” menu and click on “Show all” to see an overview of your live applications within the Fresenius group of companies. To delete an application, click on the “Withdraw application” button. You will then receive a confirmation message which also goes to the personnel department.

You can send attachments in the following formats:
.pdf, .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pps, .rtf, .txt, .odt, .ods, .odp, .jpg, .gif, .png and .bmp files.

Please note that individual attachments must not be bigger than 5 MB.
