Senior Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (m/f/d)

For our Helios Fachkliniken Hildburghausen we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) for our Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy.

• You will act as a permanent deputy to the head physician. You will work closely with her, supporting and relieving her in cooperation with a multi-professional team consisting of other medical, nursing and therapeutic staff
• You are jointly responsible for the training of subordinate staff, supervise the assistant doctors, advise the therapists and nursing staff
• You will be involved in the treatment of young patients in the outpatient clinic and on the wards. You will work closely with youth welfare offices, inpatient youth welfare facilities (homes), schools and registered doctors and therapists
• You will actively attend internal and external training events at the clinic
• You will also take part in the on-call service

• Specialist (m/f/d) in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy with relevant professional experience
• High level of responsibility and ability to inspire and motivate employees as well as a high level of integration through a collegial management style and professional authority
• High level of professional and social competence to contribute to the continuous development of our patient-oriented care
• Economic thinking and acting in line with medical and operational requirements
• Enjoy working in a friendly and collegial team

The Helios Fachkliniken Hildburghausen, with around 700 employees, includes the Clinic for Neurology, the Clinics for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy, the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and a facility for the disabled with 50 places.

Our clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy is housed in a spacious new building and includes two inpatient units with 24 places, a day clinic with 11 places and two outpatient clinics. Children and adolescents from pre-school age to the age of 18 are treated across the entire spectrum of child and adolescent psychiatry. Our clinic school, occupational therapy, movement therapy, art therapy and music therapy work together across all wards. We also offer our patients animal-assisted therapy with horses.
