For our Spinal Surgery Clinic in Erfurt, we are looking for a doctor in advanced training (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

• You will be responsible for looking after our patients
• You will take over the digital documentation and create medical reports
• You will work collegially with all departments in our multi-professional team
• You will also be involved in inpatient, daypatient and outpatient care

• Doctor in further training at an advanced stage of training (m/f/d)
• Willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation with all departments of the hospital, in particular orthopaedics and trauma surgery
• An open and confident manner, integrity and team orientation, enthusiasm
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• A full-time position with a working week of 40 hours

The Clinic for Spinal Surgery, newly opened in October 2012 and co-founded by Dr. Ali Ezzati (Semmelweis univ. Budapest), AO Spine Center since January 2014, covers a wide range of services in all areas of the spine. The focus of spinal surgery is on the endoscopic, minimally invasive treatment of fractures, inflammations, tumors and herniated discs. Diagnostically and therapeutically, the range of services includes intervertebral disc surgery, decompression in the event of narrowing of the spinal canal in all sections of the spine, vertebral body replacement and instrumented stabilization of the spine, including thoracoscopic vertebral body replacement in the prone position. Furthermore, disc endoprosthetics in the cervical and lumbar region and correction of deformities and misalignments are performed. In addition to the surgical treatment of fractures, degenerative and metastases of the spine, the clinic specializes in scoliosis surgery, minimally invasive and rheumatic surgery, including craniocervical transoral operations and minimally invasive endoscopic spinal surgery.
