For our Clinic for Cardiac and Cardiovascular Surgery at the Krefeld site, we are looking for a full-time assistant physician / specialist in cardiac surgery / cardiology (m/f/d) with immediate effect, on a temporary basis as a sick leave replacement.

• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with other specialist departments
• Inpatient and outpatient care of our patients
• Active participation in the hemodynamic management of patients with heart disease/insufficiency
• You will actively participate in on-call and call services
• Participation in lectures and specialist events

• Specialist in cardiac surgery / cardiology / general medicine (m/f/d) is desirable but not essential
• Experience in the care of cardiac surgery patients
• Very good written and spoken German language skills (C1)
• You have commitment, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility
• You have an open and confident manner and the ability to work in a collegial and interdisciplinary manner
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• A modern cardiac surgery clinic with the main focus on minimally invasive surgery
• Full WB authorization for cardiac surgery available as well as further training in echocardiography/SM therapy possible

The Clinic for Cardiac and Cardiovascular Surgery is an integral part of the Heart Center Krefeld Niederrhein, which comprises 120 cardiological-cardiosurgical beds on the normal care wards. In addition, there are 12 intermediate care beds and 12 beds in the interdisciplinary cardiac surgery and anesthesiology intensive care unit. Two operating theatres and a state-of-the-art hybrid operating theatre are available for cardiac surgery treatment. The range of tasks covers the entire spectrum of cardiac surgery with the exception of transplants. A particular focus is on minimally invasive, total arterial coronary surgery and reconstructive procedures on the aortic and mitral valve as well as minimally invasive implantation of left ventricular assist devices.
