Helios Klinikum Erfurt GmbH is looking for you as a trainee medical assistant / MFA (m/f/d) on 01.08 of each year.

• 3-year apprenticeship in the dual system: You will alternate between attending the vocational school in Erfurt, the practical training will take place at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.
• Organization of practice processes
• Receiving and accompanying patients
• Organising and carrying out practice and occupational hygiene
• Assistance in medical treatment, e.g. independent preparation of dressing changes, minor surgical procedures and the correct collection of body fluids for laboratory determination, as well as the implementation of simple diagnostic measures
• The practical training takes place on a rotating basis during the consultation hours of our 39 clinics of the Helios Clinic Erfurt as well as with assignments in various areas of our hospital, such as: emergency room, medical technology, quality management, radiology, physiotherapy

• You are open-minded, motivated and bring joy and interest in training in the healthcare sector
• At least a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent school leaving certificate
• a completed 1-week internship in a doctor's office
• Proof of health suitability
• Knowledge of the German language at least at level B2
• Quick comprehension, practical skills, absolute accuracy and spatial imagination as well as good grades in the natural sciences
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Your three-year training as a medical assistant / MFA (m/f/d) begins on 01.08. of each year and takes place full-time. The theoretical lessons are completed two days a week at the Marie-Elyse-Kayser School in Erfurt. On the other three days, the practical part of the training takes place. After successfully completing the final examinations, you will acquire your state-recognised professional qualification.
