Helios Klinikum Erfurt GmbH is looking for you as a trainee medical assistant / MFA (m/f/d) on August 1st of each year.

3-year training in the dual system: You will alternate between attending the vocational school in Erfurt and practical training at Helios Klinikum Erfurt.

Organization of practice procedures

Receiving and accompanying patients

Organize and carry out practice and work hygiene

Assisting with medical treatment, e.g. independent preparation of dressing changes, minor surgical procedures and the correct collection of body fluids for laboratory determination, as well as carrying out simple diagnostic measures

Practical training takes place on a rotating basis in the consultation hours of our 39 clinics at Helios Klinikum Erfurt as well as with assignments in various areas of our hospital, e.g: Emergency room, medical technology, quality management, radiology, physiotherapy

You are open-minded, motivated and enjoy and are interested in training in the healthcare sector

At least a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent

Proof of health suitability

German language skills of at least level B2

Quick comprehension, practical skills, absolute accuracy and spatial imagination as well as good grades in science subjects

Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Your three-year training as a medical assistant / MFA (m/f/d) begins on August 1st of each year and takes place full-time. Theoretical classes are held two days a week at the Marie-Elyse-Kayser School in Erfurt. The practical part of the training takes place on the other three days. After successfully completing the final examinations, you will receive your state-recognized vocational qualification.
