We are looking for a committed and professionally experienced personality for our high-performance and interdisciplinary teaching hospital of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg as part of the regulated pension succession from the 1st quarter of 2026 as

Senior Consultant (m/f/d) for Pneumology with the option of succeeding CA

• Medical inpatient and outpatient patient care

• - Implementation of specialized treatments and therapies in the department
• - Close interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialist departments and clinics
• - Close cooperation with the pneumology/thoracic surgery clinics of the Helios network
• - Training and supervision of medical staff and promotion of further training
• - Participation in the conceptual further development of the palliative care area and expansion of existing care structures
• - Representation of the clinic within and outside the hospital

• Completed specialist training in internal medicine with a focus on pneumology

• - Experience in invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• - High level of professional competence, social and leadership skills and strong communication skills
• - Experience in the development and implementation of innovative treatment concepts and in the continuous optimization of medical processes
• - Strong interest in interdisciplinary cooperation and structural development of existing care services
