Carrying out physical-mechanical tests (such as
tensile tests, force measurements or measurements of
product-specific properties) on packaging materials
Planning and execution of measurement series and tests as well as their evaluation and assessment with subsequent presentation
Coordination and monitoring of test orders
Preparation of test reports
Operating light microscopes and scanning electron microscopes
Carrying out 2 and 3D measurements on a measuring machine
Production and testing of prototypes and samples as well as their evaluation and presentation of the test results
Carrying out product cuts and product castings
Material testing in the area of plastic products and films
Qualification of injection molding tools with the aim of using them for routine production at suppliers
Supporting special production trials on production lines with the aim of evaluating the development series of new products
Accompaniment of tests and sampling at suppliers and evaluation of the quality of plastic parts within these tests
Development of new test procedures and test methods for the qualification and evaluation of new packaging systems
Qualification of complex automatic assembly machines with regard to the quality of the manufactured parts.
Development of new test specifications for the Zwick tensile testing machines
Management and calibration of test equipment and development of methods for calibrating test equipment
Operation of the pilot autoclave for test sterilizations as well as creation and development of sterilization programs for the laboratory autoclave
Training as a physics laboratory technician or comparable
Knowledge of plastics and materials technology
Knowledge of quality management
Good knowledge of test equipment management
Confident handling of inspection and test equipment
Good PC skills (MS Office, image processing)
Good to very good knowledge of English and very good knowledge of written and spoken German
Ability to work cleanly and correctly with regard to measurements and measurement results
Ability to plan and coordinate
Strong teamwork and high level of commitment
