We are looking for you as a trainee surgical assistant / OTA (m/f/d) at the Schwerin site from September 1, 2025.

• As an important part of the surgical team, you will provide support in the operating room and in the various functional areas (e.g. outpatient clinic or endoscopy)
• Your daily tasks will include preparing the patient for the procedure, providing and caring for the necessary instruments and medical devices and documenting the procedure
• The training should enable you to assist doctors before, during and after a surgical procedure
• You will care for and monitor anaesthetized patients
• Teaching the theoretical knowledge base in block lessons at the vocational school

• You have a strong awareness of order and cleanliness (hygienic behavior)
• You have a high level of concentration combined with a persistent way of working
• You have already completed a pre-vocational internship in the OR or in a surgical practice with an integrated OR
• You either have a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent, a lower secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent in conjunction with completed vocational training (training period of at least two years) or a state license as a nursing assistant/nursing assistant (m/f/d)
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
