At Helios Klinikum Duisburg we are offering you a full-time or part-time position as Deputy Nursing Director (m/f/d).

• Representation of the Nursing Director:Assumption of the duties of the Nursing Director in his absence and independent management of several clinical areas
• Ensuring the provision of nursing care: Responsibility for a high quality of care and patient orientation
• Personnel management: managing demand-oriented personnel planning and development in nursing and functional services, taking into account legal requirements
• Quality assurance: further development of statutory quality standards in nursing and ensuring nursing and medical quality objectives
• Optimization of work processes: Analysis and improvement of existing processes and organizational structures
• Cooperation with other departments: Close coordination with hospital management, executive management, chief physicians, the HR department and the education center
• Coordination and processing of complaints: Ensuring professional handling of inquiries and concerns
• Project management: taking on and managing projects, particularly in collaboration with the Medical Directorate, including preparing process analyses and carrying them out independently
• Interface function: contact person for internal and external partners, promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation

• Education: Completed vocational training in the healthcare sector, preferably as a registered nurse.
• Degree: Successfully completed studies in nursing management, nursing science or a comparable field.
• Professional experience: Several years of management experience in a hospital or comparable position.
• IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office applications; experience with hospital information systems an advantage.
• Soft skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, initiative, ability to work under pressure and an independent way of working.
