At the earliest possible date we are looking for an

Employee for inpatient billing (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time as a parental leave replacement until 31.07.2027

• Ensuring inpatient and pre-inpatient patient billing
• Processing internal and external inquiries in connection with billing-related topics, open items and cost assurance for inpatient cases
• Reporting and evaluating non-billable cases
• Monitoring the electronic data carrier exchange in accordance with §301 SGB V
• Collaboration on cross-departmental projects with the interfaces admission, medical controlling and accounting
• Cross-house billing within the North region, participation in monthly and annual financial statements, preparation of statistics

• Successfully completed vocational training as an MFA (m/f/d), equivalent medical training or alternatively successfully completed commercial vocational training
• Billing knowledge in an inpatient setting desirable
• Understanding of medical documentation
• Mastery of medical nomenclature or an affinity for it
• Structured and independent way of working, team-oriented, with commitment, flexibility and a high sense of responsibility
