The (Senior) Manager Corporate Controlling & Strategic Finance (m/f/d) is responsible for the creation, analysis and preparation of decision-relevant financial information for the results-oriented management of entrepreneurial activities. In this role, this role supports the Executive Board and top management in strategic and operational decisions and makes a significant contribution to the further development of controlling, planning and reporting processes in the corporate area.
Accompany monthly and quarterly corporate closing processes from a controlling perspective, including variance analyses, commentary, management reporting and preparation of decision-making bases
Contribute to quarterly forecasts, annual budget, forecasts and multi-year planning for the corporate sector
Responsible for Global Functional Cost Controlling and cross-functional coordination between subgroups and central functions
Prepare and develop management reporting for the board of directors and top management and ensure its quality
Control and further develop forecast, budget, and planning processes of the corporate functions and ensure consistent data and reporting structures
Create and maintain business principles, guidelines and standards for the Corporate segment
Advising decentralised controllers and managers on technical, procedural and group policy-related issues
Support projects (including SAP S/4HANA implementation), maintain the Group information system and carry out ad-hoc analyses
Successfully completed master's degree in economics with a focus on controlling or finance
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the controlling or finance department of a global company
In-depth knowledge of controlling, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
Basic knowledge of IFRS
Very good SAP knowledge (especially data maintenance and data extraction)
Strong PC and BI skills with a focus on automation (e.g. Excel PowerPivot, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power Automate) as well as ability to create complex financial models
Fluent in German and English as well as strong communication skills
Hands-on mentality, high implementation strength, solution-oriented way of working and strong ability to work in a team
