To support our nursing teams in the cardiac surgery and / or cardiology departments, we are looking for you at the Leipzig Heart Center as a nursing assistant or geriatric nursing assistant (m/f/d) for our monitoring ward / IMC ward / intermediate care ward at the earliest possible date.
You will support nursing staff in the care and support of patients on the IMC wards
You will be responsible for monitoring vital signs (monitoring and measuring pulse, temperature, blood pressure)
You will assist with interventions and support the admission, transfer and discharge of patients
You document your patients' care measures
You work closely with the nursing staff and ensure needs-oriented care for your patients
You implement the care guidelines and hygiene standards
You have completed training (1-2 years) as a state-recognized nursing or geriatric care assistant or nursing assistant (m/f/d)
Ideally, you have already gained experience in a hospital setting
You are characterized by a sense of responsibility and reliability
Your strengths include communication skills and the ability to work in a team
You are open-minded and empathetic towards your patients and colleagues
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
