Materials & Recipes Content Manager (m/f/d) BU Nutrition

In the role of a Materials and Recipes Content Manager, you will lead the development and management of the Materials and Recipes database within R&D Enteral Nutrition, ensuring it is fully integrated and aligned with R&D initiatives, internal policies, quality and compliance standards.

• Develop and implement strategies for the efficient management of the Materials and Recipes database within R&D Enteral Nutrition, ensuring alignment with relevant norms, regulations, certifications and industry standards for Food for Special Medical Purposes.
• Collaborate with the R&D departments to ensure the Material and Recipe Management system supports ongoing research and development projects.
• Lead cross-department initiatives to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Material and Recipe Management system, confirming it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
• Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external software vendors to guarantee smooth execution of software updates and enhancements.
• Manage the system-based review process for material and recipe data, working closely with R&D and Production departments to verify that all material and recipe data meet predefined standards and specifications.
• Coordinate activities to maintain up-to-date supplier information of raw materials and validate the information provided by suppliers, ensuring it meets the standards for accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes affecting materials and recipes, and proactively update system criteria to reflect these changes.
• Foster the adoption of the Material and Recipe Management system across the organization through training sessions and detailed user guides.

• You hold a Master’s degree in food sciences or technology, nutritional sciences or related fields.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in production, QA, product development or recipe management within the food industry, preferably within an multinational Matrix driven organisation.
• You have experience with the relevant norms, regulations, certifications, and industry standards for Food / Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP).
• FSMP Ingredient knowledge is a plus.
• You are proficient in English and German (written and spoken).
• You have excellent MS Office knowledge and proficient in working with relevant databases.
• You bring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to interprete and structure complex topics.
• You have the ability to understand and harmonize different perspectives.
• You have an excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills to effectively interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
