For our Emil von Behring Clinic in Berlin-Zehlendorf , we are looking for you as a Respiratory Therapist (m/f/d) as soon as possible

• Active participation in medical, nursing and multi-professional rounds and team meetings, as well as support in the planning of therapy adjustments and measures to optimize patient care
• Caring for patients with non-clinical, non-invasive ventilation and selecting optimal ventilation aids, as well as educating and training patients and relatives on their use and care
• Planning and implementation of inhalation therapies and therapy checks, as well as supervision and optimization of ventilation and positive pressure therapies
• Management of tracheostomy tubes including changing, care and checks - Advice on communication (e.g. speaking valves, communication aids) if necessary
• Implementation of bedside training and instruction on ventilators, as well as introduction to the use of high-flow, warm air humidification and inhalation devices
• Documentation and evaluation of all measures, training and results in the patient file

• Completed further training as a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) or comparable qualification (e.g. specialist nursing for intensive care medicine with specialization)
• Sound knowledge of weaning, ventilation management and secretion management
• Ideally experience in outpatient ventilation or in the field of respiratory therapy
• Strong communication and cooperation skills in an interdisciplinary context and a proactive way of working with a high level of personal responsibility and organizational talent
• Confident handling of modern medical technology and digital documentation systems
• Proof of the legally required immunization against measles
