To support our colleagues in the weaning unit attached to the intensive care unit in Bad Saarow near Berlin, we are looking for a full-time or part-time

Respiratory therapist (m/f/d)

• Weaning a ventilated patient from the ventilator (with appropriate qualifications)

• Professional implementation and documentation of basic and treatment care, taking into account the special features of an intensive care unit
• Patient monitoring and control
• Professional care according to the care process
• Appreciative communication and cooperation with patients and all professional groups

• Completed training as a nursing specialist

• Additional qualification as a respiratory therapist or interest in acquiring this as well as experience in working on a weaning unit

• Professional experience in healthcare and nursing, ideally with experience in intensive care or the willingness to deal with intensive care professionally

• Knowledge of the care of patients with acute illnesses, pathophysiology and medication knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of medication (modes of action, calculation) and mastery of resuscitation measures
• Commitment, resilience and a sense of responsibility
• Acceptance of flexible working hours
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
