Breast Care Nurse (m/f/d)

• Continuous accompaniment and support of patients and their relatives from diagnosis or notification to diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to aftercare
• Targeted advice on structures, processes and contents of diagnostics and therapy and information options, interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments
• Side effect management – advice on the different effects of the therapies (such as radiation, chemotherapy, antibody therapy, immunotherapy, endocrine therapy, etc.)
• Advice on the possibilities of external treatment with different epitheses, demo material, formulation of special underwear and primary care, etc.), nipple reconstruction
• Support of the center coordination, certification by DKG OnkoZert
• Public relations work in the form of workshops, lectures or training courses
• Design and implementation of a teaching unit (once per course) in the nursing school

• Completed training as a medical assistant (m/f/d)
• Breast Care Nurse Training
• Professional experience, ideally in gynecology or oncology
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
