For the Purchasing and Logistics division based in Berlin, we are looking for the following person to join us as soon as possible:

Strategic Buyer/Category Manager (m/f/d) General Services

• Management of company-wide product groups in Indirect Spend (non-medical consumables, services and investments) from a strategic point of view
• Developing suppliers and expanding cooperation with relevant specialist functions
• Development and implementation of future-oriented procurement strategies
• Global analysis of markets, suppliers and prices as well as identification of cost reduction potentials
• Leading tendering and negotiation processes and preparing decision papers and contracts
• Contact person for specialist departments and suppliers

• Completed commercial training or studies in business administration or equivalent knowledge as well as professional experience in strategic purchasing
• Independent working style and confident manner as well as strong communication skills and ability to advise internal decision-makers
• Strategic thinking to optimize total costs
• Fluency in German and business fluent in written and spoken English
• Confident handling of Excel and MS Office. Knowledge of SAP desirable
• Willingness to travel occasionally and proof of immunization against measles
