To strengthen our Printing & Asset Management team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager (m/f/d) with excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills who is able to lead, coach, and develop a team of HAM specialists. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a global HAM strategy and roadmap, as well as for developing a strategic and operational HAM organization and its capabilities.
This position can be filled in Germany or Poland.
Define and execute a forward-looking hardware asset strategy, including CMDB, discovery tools, and system integrations, aligned with business objectives
Drive and continuously enhance HAM governance, leveraging industry best practices and performance KPIs
Lead internal and external audit initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO/ITIL standards and implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions
Deliver impactful reporting and dashboards tailored to executive and stakeholder needs
Establish and maintain a single source of truth for hardware assets, including inventory, usage, contracts, and lifecycle data
Advise leadership on asset strategy, risk exposure, and investment decisions, translating technical data into business insights
Define and govern end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle management, including standards and policies
Foster strong collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and hardware vendors (OEMs)
Establish and promote best practices in knowledge and quality management
Own budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning for hardware assets
Proactively manage risk, security, and compliance to minimize audit exposure and avoid unplanned costs
Identify and realize cost optimization opportunities, including rationalization, re-harvesting, chargebacks, and cost avoidance
Co-develop and align the overall IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy in close partnership with SAM
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or Business Management, other non-technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 10 years of professional experience in leading Hardware Asset Management practices
Expertise in lifecycle management, contracting, HAM practices, audit managing, compliance practices, asset management tools and executive Reporting
Expertise in ISO standards and ITIL process of Asset Management
Very good knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, ServiceNow HAM Pro
Proficient with process and Asset Management competencies
Proven experience End-to-End Asset Life Cycle Management in large diverse global enterprises
Expert in budget planning & present proposals persuasively
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-organizational teams, multi-cultural projects and partner
Fluent German and English skills
