We are looking for a full-time or part-time Senior Physician for the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (m/f/d) to join our team of specialists as soon as possible with a committed and open personality.

What you can expect

  • You will represent the department as a senior physician (m/f/d) during regular working hours and on duty practically and organizationally in the OR, on the interdisciplinary intensive care unit and in the acute pain service
  • You will staff the emergency ambulance at the Lengerich site on a pro rata basis during normal working hours
  • You take part in the foreground service (approx. 4-5 services/month)
  • You will help shape the future of the department in the OR, on the intensive care unit and in the acute pain service, depending on your own focus

What you bring with you

  • You are a specialist in anesthesiology (m/f/d) and have many years of clinical experience in all areas of modern anesthesiological care, including (ultrasound-assisted) regional anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia as well as in intensive care medicine
  • Ideally, you have the additional qualification in intensive care medicine
  • The additional qualification in pain therapy would be particularly desirable
  • In addition to your high level of professional expertise, you have a high degree of empathy and social competence as well as the ability to communicate and work in an interdisciplinary manner with other specialties
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Helios Klinik Lengerich GmbH is a basic and standard care hospital with currently 171 beds and is based in Lengerich a. T.W., geographically located between the university cities of Münster and Osnabrück. Around 4,000 anesthesias are performed annually in the fields of general and visceral surgery, trauma surgery and orthopaedics, spinal surgery, hand and foot surgery as well as gynaecology (excluding obstetrics) and ENT. All modern anesthesia procedures with a high proportion of peripheral regional procedures are used. All modern intensive care procedures (PiCCo, CVVH, TTE etc.) are available in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit (7 beds). The department also provides perioperative care for patients of the acute pain service and emergency medical care for the town of Lengerich. The laboratory and radiology department (CT, MRI) are located directly on the premises. Helios Klinik Lengerich currently employs around 400 staff, including 18 trainees.
