(Senior) Manager Data Protection (m/f/d)

We are the corporate data protection department of Fresenius and are part of the Risk & Integrity division.

Make a significant contribution to the strategic transformation of data protection in the Group. Play an active role in shaping and developing our data protection management system and ensure the implementation of and compliance with a globally uniform level of data protection. Our team develops effective and efficient measures to protect the personal data of our employees, patients, customers and other business partners, both nationally and internationally. And because laws and other regulatory requirements are constantly changing, we need people who stay on the ball and constantly rise to the changing challenges of this important topic.

Your tasks:

• As an experienced data protection expert in the Fresenius Group, you will advise the Fresenius Corporate departments on their data processing and data protection issues.

• You will enrich our motivated team in the further development of our data protection management system, including the (further) development of guidelines, data protection notices and the implementation of data protection audits.

• You will carry out comprehensive risk assessments, including conscientious monitoring of international data transfers.

• You will contribute to the development of pioneering data protection solutions that harmonize with our corporate goals.

• You will carry out comprehensive audits of data protection projects and contracts of all kinds in a national and international environment with effect for the Group.

• You will conduct data protection training for our employees as part of e-learning, face-to-face events and other target group-related training measures.

• Variety is guaranteed - you will gain insights into almost all Fresenius business processes and acquire valuable know-how through this diversity.

Your profile

• Completed studies in economics (business administration, economics), business law, IT/computer science or law (law)

• Several years of experience in data protection, compliance or with internal audits, preferably in a group, law firm or consulting company

• Know-how in the proactive further development of a data protection management system

• Very good written and spoken German and English

• You combine business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking with a strong solution orientation and a good understanding of the needs of various stakeholders, including business partners

• You are able to convey complex issues in an understandable way and have good communication skills

• You are characterized by your independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working paired with proactive communication, quick comprehension and the ability to work in a team.
