Your assignments

• Tax-Specific Design and Implementation:

  • Design tax-specific solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA system, considering various types of direct and indirect taxes such as VAT, GST, sales tax, and withholding tax.

  • Implement tax solutions that comply with the fiscal requirements of various jurisdictions.

  • Support the design of the overall corporate SAP data model with regards to tax, e.g. tax ledger, chart of accounts to ensure efficient accounting and reporting

  • Implement and leverage SAP Cloud tools, such as SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, and region-specific add-on tools like for instance tax engines for the USA or Mastersaf for Brazil.

• Requirements Management:

  • Gather and analyze business and fiscal authority requirements.

  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.

  • Leverage SAP Standard solutions and de-facto standard add-on tools

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of both business processes and SAP standard capabilities.

• Execution and Testing:

  • Design, implement, and configure tax solutions in SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring a high level of automation in the testing process.

  • Document requirements, solutions, and testing outcomes using state-of-the-art, regulated tools.

• Migration and Data Management:

  • Manage tax-relevant settings in Business Partner and Material Master Data.

  • Oversee the migration of tax-related data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• User Interface Optimization:

  • Ensure efficient use of SAP Fiori applications to enhance user experience and streamline tax-related processes.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and meet their tax requirements.

• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation of tax solutions.

• Provide support during the go-live phase and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in tax-related SAP implementations, with a strong focus on S/4 HANA.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP S/4 HANA, including direct and indirect tax requirements and compliance.

• Proficiency with SAP Cloud tools such as SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, and familiarity with region-specific tools like tax engines or Mastersaf.

• Proven ability to manage end-to-end implementation projects, including configuration, testing, and go-live support, demonstrating expertise in requirements management and translating business needs into technical specifications.

• S/4 HANA Certified.

• Previous experience in the Life Sciences domain, with a solid understanding of the industry's specific requirements.

• Experience in managing geographical teams and handling complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams and teams, with strong skills in internal and external supplier management and understanding of integration points between SAP modules and other enterprise systems.
