To strengthen our practice team in the medical care center in Duisburg, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as an

OTA / surgical assistant (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time

• You will take on a central role in the OR team and make a significant contribution to the safety and quality of surgical procedures

• You will prepare the operating room according to the surgical plan, provide all necessary instruments, materials and equipment and check their functionality
• You hand the required instruments and materials to the operating team of doctors, maintain an overview of the course of the operation and react proactively
• They consistently ensure compliance with all hygiene regulations, prepare the operating field in sterile conditions and assist with the correct positioning of patients
• You will not only operate the medical equipment used, but also check it regularly
• In addition, you will provide support by actively participating in the practice process and in the introduction of improvement processes

• You have completed training as a surgical assistant (m/f/d), healthcare and nursing assistant (m/f/d) or as a medical assistant (m/f/d) with OR experience
• You have flexibility, reliability and team spirit as well as a high degree of responsibility and social competence
• You have sound technical expertise and professional experience in the OR
• You are motivated to contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the work / framework conditions that arise
• You have good manners and an empathetic approach to patients
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
