Head of Financial Planning & Analysis / Performance Controlling (m/f/d)

As Head of Financial Planning & Analysis / Performance Controlling (m/f/d) at Fresenius Health Services, you will be responsible for the management of financial corporate planning, analysis and controlling - and thus make a significant contribution to strategic decision-making processes and the sustainable performance of our organization.

Your tasks

• FP&A: You will be responsible for the establishment, further development and management of the Financial Planning & Analysis department and provide well-founded strategic financial analyses.
• Performance Controlling: You will develop and manage a powerful KPI system that makes our operational excellence measurable - precise, transparent, forward-looking.
• Planning processes: You will be responsible for company-wide budgeting, forecasting and multi-year planning and develop planning and management tools to support the corporate strategy.
• Business partnering: As a financial sparring partner, you will support our management, specialist departments and international subsidiaries with the help of scenario analyses and business cases in financial management and making reliable decisions.
• Reporting: The creation and further development of management reports (including ad hoc analyses, dashboards, scenario analyses) is also part of your tasks.
• Controlling systems: In addition, you will be responsible for the optimization and digitalization / automation of processes, tools and systems in the finance area (e.g. BI tools, ERP) and form the interface to overarching Group projects in the area of finance / controlling.
• Team leadership: Last but not least, you will form and lead a high-performance controlling team.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in finance, industrial engineering or a comparable subject
• At least 7 years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A or corporate finance, ideally in an international environment
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective FP&A processes and providing insightful financial analysis
• In-depth knowledge of financial models, budgeting processes and business case analysis
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud), BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and Excel
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong leadership skills and enthusiasm for team development
• Entrepreneurial thinking, coupled with a high degree of personal responsibility and a focus on implementation and solutions
• Strong communication skills with a confident manner, also in collaboration with C-level stakeholders
• Intercultural competence and diplomatic demeanor
• Negotiation skills in German and English
