We are looking for a trainee surgical assistant (m/f/d) - OTAto start on September 1st of each year .

As a surgical assistant (m/f/d), you are the right hand of doctors and surgeons - before, during and after operations: You will prepare patients for various procedures, prepare all the necessary instruments and equipment, check that they are in working order and ensure that hygiene regulations are adhered to. During operations, you hand the doctors the necessary instruments, such as scalpels, clamps or scissors, and check the condition of the patients. After the surgical procedures, you will disinfect and sterilize the instruments and document the course of the operation on the computer.

During your training as a surgical assistant, you will also learn about your tasks during endoscopies, what measures need to be taken in emergency situations and how to care for patients before and after operations.

After training as a surgical assistant (m/f/d), you will work in the operating room in hospitals, outpatient surgery centers or practices where operations are performed.
