We are looking for a full-time nurse or medical assistant (m/f/d) as Coordinator of Structural Heart Disease at the earliest possible date.

Become the central contact person in the field of interventional heart valve therapy - between patients, relatives, medical teams and referring physicians. You will coordinate processes, create structure and support the treatment team.

• You will be responsible for processing referral inquiries, evaluating patient data and external findings, organizing appointments based on free slots and sending out appointment and referral information.
• You will answer patient inquiries by telephone or electronically, complete patient files and schedule all necessary examinations for the day of admission.
• You will coordinate the vacation and duty schedules of cardiology and cardiac surgery implantees, coordinate surgery slots including the availability of hybrid rooms and the deployment of guest implantees, and work closely with the HHI on potential study cases.
• You will organize implantation appointments in close consultation with the internal team and ensure that preoperative diagnostics are completed and requested.
• You identify suitable patients for preliminary outpatient examinations, coordinate necessary diagnostic appointments and plan time-structured stays.
• You will develop measures to make more efficient use of existing resources - e.g. laboratory diagnostics in advance by GPs or individualized inpatient treatment paths to improve expectation management.

You have completed training as a medical assistant or nurse

Ideally, you have experience in cardiology, cardiac surgery or structural heart interventions.

You work in a responsible and structured manner and have a strong organizational talent.

You have empathy in dealing with patients and relatives.

You have initiative, organizational skills and the ability to deal with conflict as well as a high level of social competence

You are willing to collaborate across professional groups and have the ability to work in a team-oriented manner with an entrepreneurial and structured mindset

You have the legally required proof of immunization against measles.
