Director, Global Category Management IT (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Design and execute long-term global sourcing strategies for all it spend categories aligned with business priorities

• Benchmark and optimize IT procurement portfolio to deliver cost effectiveness & enable business performance

• Build strategic vendor relationships and implement performance management strategies

• Lead high-value negotiations and contract management to secure optimal commercial and service outcomes

• Effectively partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and Compliance functions to align procurement initiatives with business needs

• Act as a trusted advisor to CIO and senior tech/IT stakeholders globally

• Champion the adoption of procurement & it governance polices & processes

• Monitor market trends, pricing models, and emerging technologies to inform category future roadmap

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement tools, systems, and processes, promote best practices

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in indirect procurement within a complex, multinational environment

• Strong category knowledge across the full IT landscape

• Strategic mindset paired with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills

• Proficiency across the end-to-end procurement process: Plan-to-Strategy and Source-to-Contract

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence internal stakeholders at various levels of seniority

• Fluent negotiation skills and confidence in managing high-value, high-impact supplier relationships

• Strategic mindset paired with strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills

• Fluent English is a must; additional languages are an asset
