Senior Physician Oncology / Hematology (m/f/d)

For the Helios Klinikum Krefeld / MVZ Hematology and Oncology we are looking for a full-time Senior Physician Hematology / Oncology (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

• Care, treatment and diagnosis of inpatients with underlying hematologic / oncologic diseases
• Preparation of follow-up care for patients with allogeneic / autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation
• Active participation in shaping the department and shared responsibility for organizational and quality management
• Participation in the consultation service for hematological/oncological issues of the other clinics
• Participation in hematology/oncology on-call service, if desired also participation in palliative care on-call service (only with additional qualification in palliative care)

• You are a specialist (m/f/d) in internal medicine with a focus on hematology and oncology
• You have experience in the diagnosis and drug therapy of hematological diseases, hematological neoplasms and in the treatment of oncological organ tumors
• You have strong organizational skills, a high sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills
• You are a team player and value interdisciplinary collaboration
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The department has 37 beds (in cooperation with radiotherapy) and treats approx. 2,000 inpatients per year. A medical care center is affiliated with the clinic. The treatment spectrum of the department and the MVZ includes conventional chemotherapies, immunotherapies, antibody therapies, hormone therapy and innovative therapy with signaling pathway and cell cycle inhibitors in close cooperation with the clinic's existing organ centers. Our range of therapies is supplemented by the option of complex palliative medical treatment, psycho-oncological care, social services, physiotherapy and nutritional advice. We are keen to expand our clinical research and participate in studies. Certification as a center for hematological neoplasia by OnkoZert on behalf of the German Cancer Society is planned for 2023.
