Senior Consultant Hematology / Oncology (m/f/d)

For our Clinic for Hematology, Oncology and Palliative Medicine, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) with the option of succeeding the Head Physician at the earliest possible date.

• You will support the head physician in the management of the specialist department and in the further development of the clinic
• You will care for our patients with hematological / oncological diseases in close cooperation with the other specialist departments and colleagues in private practice.
• You will be supported by a qualified team of doctors and nursing staff and a team of various therapists such as psycho-oncologists, art therapists, physiotherapists and others.
• You support the head physician in the training and guidance of doctors in further training
• You take part in the on-call service
• In the future, there is the option of taking over the management function in this specialist area as a successor to the head physician due to retirement

• You are a specialist in internal medicine (m/f/d) with a focus on hematology and oncology
• You have experience in the diagnosis and drug therapy of hematological diseases, hematological neoplasms and in the treatment of oncological organ tumors
• You have strong organizational skills, a high sense of responsibility and communication skills
• Commitment and strong social skills in dealing with patients, colleagues and external partners are a matter of course for you

The Clinic for Hematology, Oncology & Palliative Medicine at Helios Klinikum Aue has 40 full inpatient beds (including 12 palliative care beds and 4 day clinic beds) and treats 1,600 inpatients and approx. 800 outpatients every year. Outpatient treatment takes place in the MVZ Oncology. There is close cooperation with the MVZ Radiation Therapy in the same building.
