Senior Functional Controller (m/f/d)

full-time with office in Berlin or at one of our clinic locations

• You will provide significant support for the development and further development of central functional controlling with more than 20 functions in an important transformation phase
• You will design the budgeting and forecasting process in close cooperation with the functions you supervise and align financial planning with the company's long-term strategic goals
• You will monitor and control functional cost management and performance control, ensure that financial goals are met and that the work of the functions generates measurable business benefits and impact
• They analyze deviations, derive the need for action and coordinate corrective measures with the functions
• They drive high-quality financial reporting for the functions and provide strategic insights to support informed, data-driven decisions at all levels of the organization
• You will contribute to the digital transformation and carry out process improvements by identifying standardization and automation potentials and implementing them together with the Data & Insights team
• You will act as the central contact person for functional controlling topics within central controlling in the newly created matrix organization and ensure clear, consistent and effective communication with upper and top management

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, health economics or a comparable course of study
• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the Life Science / Healthcare sector or in a complex corporate environment
• Distinctive controlling methodological competence including cost management, functional KPI control, IC billing, annual/monthly closing activities. Knowledge of financial consolidation and group accounting is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, MS Office applications (Powerpoint, Excel Power Query, VBA, etc.) and BI tools with a practice-oriented, hands-on approach to system-supported data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and clear, strategic recommendations
• Your excellent communication skills and language skills enable you to communicate confidently at all levels of the organization – in German and English
• A high level of initiative and a high level of responsibility and an eye for optimisation potential – always on the lookout for improvements, increased efficiency and sustainable added value
• Transformation experience with the ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and create a results-driven, supportive work environment
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
