As a Senior Controller (m/f/d) in the Shareholding & Investment Controlling department, you will take on a central management function for investments, investments and strategic transformation projects in the hospital and healthcare environment.

They act as a financial sparring partner for management, corporate programs, real estate and hospital companies and make a significant contribution to the Group's sustainable capital allocation.

• Investment & CapEx Controlling: With a view to group-wide investment guidelines and approval processes, you will assume overall responsibility for the planning, management and control of CapEx programs and carry out profitability analyses for construction, IT, MedTech and infrastructure projects
• Invest-/Divest- & Full-Lifecycle-Controlling: You will be responsible for the financial support of acquisitions, divestments, site developments and restructurings over the entire life cycle of the business cases and will also ensure post-investment and post-merger controlling, including performance and cash flow analyses
• Evaluation & Decision Models: You will support the creation, further development and plausibility check of AICs (investment applications) and DCF models and prepare decision-ready documents for the Management Board, Investment Committees and Supervisory Bodies
• Investment & Shareholding Controlling: You will also be responsible for the ongoing financial management and performance analysis of investments as well as support with governance, reporting and compliance requirements within the investment structure
• Real Estate Controlling: In real estate controlling, you will carry out profitability and life cycle analyses for hospital properties and healthcare locations and take on the valuation of new buildings, modernisations, conversions and portfolio strategies - always in close cooperation with construction, technology, real estate and external appraisers
• Funding & Transformation Finance: For public funding programmes (e.g. KHZG, PFM, other state and federal programmes), you will also be responsible for controlling, including proof of the use of funds, and will be responsible for financial management and reporting within the framework of the Hospital Transformation Fund as well as ensuring that the implementation and documentation are in compliance with the funding
• Sparring partner & interface function: In doing so, you will work closely with management, M&A, construction/real estate, as well as the operating hospital companies and will be the contact person for top management on investment, strategic and transformation-related issues

• You have a degree in business administration, health economics, finance, controlling, accounting or comparable
• In addition, you already have several years of relevant professional experience in investment, investment or group controlling, ideally in the healthcare or hospital environment
• You convince us with your very good knowledge of investment accounting and company valuation (DCF, scenarios, sensitivities), CapEx, project and lifecycle controlling as well as balance sheet, P&L and cash flow contexts
• You are confident in using Excel, BI tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and have a high level of analytical competence, a structured way of working and strong economic judgement
• Experience with publicly funded investment programs and regulatory frameworks in the healthcare sector would be an advantage
• A confident appearance towards management, the board of directors and external stakeholders rounds off your profile
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
