For the Foot Surgery Department of our Clinic for Trauma, Reconstructive and Orthopaedic Surgery in Freital, we are looking for a specialist or doctor in advanced training in orthopaedics and trauma surgery (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

• Diagnosis and treatment of various foot diseases and deformities
• Treatment of injuries to the feet, toes and ankle joint
• Possibility of specialization (attainment of the specialist qualification in orthopaedics and trauma surgery for doctors in advanced training in the 5th/6th year of training)
• Participation in the entire range of tasks of the department
• Completion of on-call duties as part of the duty roster program

• Specialist title or specialist standard (doctor in further training in the 5th/6th year of training) in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery
• Interest in the complex spectrum of modern foot surgery
• Strong willingness to work together as a collegial and communicative member of a dedicated team of doctors
• High level of social competence
• A sense of responsibility and empathic interaction with patients

The Helios Weißeritztal-Kliniken, located in Freital in the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge, is an academic teaching hospital at the Technical University of Dresden. The Clinic for Trauma, Reconstructive and Orthopaedic Surgery treats around 13,000 patients and performs over 3,000 operations every year. The range of services includes all surgical and conservative treatment procedures for diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including arthroscopic operations. Close cooperation with the geriatrics department enables comprehensive geriatric trauma care for patients. As a regional trauma center in the certified trauma network of Eastern Saxony, more than 20 polytrauma patients are treated each year. Interdisciplinary trauma room management is an integral part of the treatment concept. The head physician is directly involved in the outpatient and inpatient treatment of injured persons with statutory accident insurance as part of the D-Arzt procedure.

A particular focus is on endoprosthetics. The clinic has been certified as an endoprosthetics center since 2014. In total, more than 600 primary TEP implants are performed at our clinic every year. In addition, the specialist departments for hand, foot and neurotraumatology/spinal surgery are integrated into the clinic with their own authorization for further training.
