HMU Health and Medical University Erfurt and Helios Klinikum Erfurt are looking for a full-time doctor (0.5 VK HMU / 0.5 VK Klinikum) to strengthen the team on the university campus in Erfurt as soon as possible.

• As a physician in further training (m/f/d), you will represent trauma surgery/orthopaedics in teaching in cooperation with the relevant specialist representatives/professors of the clinical phase of study in the human medicine degree programme.
• You will design your teaching in the form of seminars, internships and bedside lessons.
• Comprehensive teaching materials and our MedTeach teaching station with excellently equipped skill labs are available to you.
• They take the exams together as a team and participate in the further development of the curriculum.
• A structured continuing education curriculum with full authorization for further training as a specialist in trauma surgery/orthopedics enables you to undergo comprehensive further training with employment for the entire duration of your specialist training.
• Participation in trauma surgery/orthopaedic/spinal surgery clinical patient care is part of your professional qualification.
• If you would like to do a doctorate, acquire an additional professional qualification or further education in higher education didactics up to a master's degree in Medical and Health Education, we expressly support this.
• For a further scientific qualification, the entire scientific and research structure of the university and the clinic is available to you.

• You have a degree in human medicine and have a licence to practise medicine. A completed doctorate would be desirable.
• You are in further training to become a specialist in trauma surgery/orthopaedics.
• Ideally, you already have teaching experience or very good didactic skills.
• You are self-confident, competent and sympathetic towards our students and patients.
• In addition to your professional skills, you have proven communication skills and strong social skills.
