(Senior) Manager National Tax (m/f/d)

Find your way to our Corporate Tax department - the tax competence center within the Fresenius Group. Here, experts work closely together and tackle challenging tax issues in an open exchange. The team's key tasks include providing income tax advice to national companies, preparing domestic tax returns, supporting tax audits and developing, automating, digitalizing and implementing processes.

Your tasks

• You will prepare the corporate and trade tax returns for the German companies of the Fresenius Group, especially for Fresenius SE & Co KGaA and the Fresenius Kabi Group, and cooperate with colleagues from the other teams in the tax department when preparing the tax returns.

• As part of the preparation of tax returns, you will be the point of contact for questions relating to national income tax law and work out the possibilities of tax structuring potential.

• It goes without saying that in your role you are also an important contact person for the tax authorities, whether it concerns information, tax returns, advance payments or similar. This includes supporting the internal tax audit team by assisting with tax audit inquiries, among other things.

• You will be committed to further developing the tax compliance structure of the Group and the companies supported by adapting/implementing the relevant processes and - where possible - automating and digitizing them. You will also provide training for German income taxes.

• Last but not least, you will support/create the tax reporting, controlling and tax calculations for the quarterly and annual financial statements.

Your profile

• Degree in business administration with a focus on tax or law

• Several years of experience in the tax department of an international company or at an auditing/tax consultancy firm

• Tax consultant exam

• If possible, practical knowledge of deferred taxes

• You are very familiar with DATEV and MS Office.
