In this role, you provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday system users, including complex configuration issues, system errors, and data discrepancies.
Part of your daily work is the collaboration with Tier 1 support teams to escalate and resolve issues that require deeper technical knowledge, as well as with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, IT, and external vendors, to support system enhancements and projects.
You analyze and diagnose system problems, identify root causes and implement solutions to ensure system stability and efficiency.
Working closely with integration teams, you assist with system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems.
In addition, your area of responsibility includes the development and maintenance of system documentation, including user manuals, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
Also, you support the onboarding of new employees and conduct user training sessions to enhance user understanding of Workday functionalities and best practices.
By participating in system testing and validation activities, you ensure that new configurations and updates meet the business requirements.
Of course you will keep up to date with Workday releases, updates, and best practices, and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in providing technical support for enterprise systems, preferably Workday, as well as system testing, validation, and documentation.
Proficiency in configuring Workday system settings, security roles and reports.
Workday certification(s) such as Workday HCM as well as experience with other enterprise systems or cloud-based applications are a plus.
Understanding of HR and finance business processes is desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
