Specialist / Senior Physician Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine (m/f/d)

For our central emergency department, we are looking for a specialist / senior physician (m/f/d) with further training in clinical acute and emergency medicine to start as soon as possible.

• Deputy Medical Director of the Central Emergency Department
• (Co-)responsibility for the initial care of patients until transfer to a specialist department (around 8,000 contacts p.a. (of which around 47% remain inpatients)
• (Co-)development of medical standards for primary care
• (Co-)organization of the ZNA and coordination of care in the ZNA
• (Co-)responsibility for the further medical and organizational development of the ZNA
• Promoting and coordinating cooperation with all relevant departments in the clinic, emergency services and referring physicians
• Other tasks or collaboration in the specialist department according to qualifications, if applicable

• Specialist with successfully completed additional training in "Clinical acute and emergency medicine"
• Several years of experience in interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary emergency care
• Enthusiasm for emergency medicine
• Safe application of emergency medicine-relevant interventions and diagnostics
• Intercollegial and interdisciplinary cooperation with patients
• Legally required proof of measles immunization

In addition, the department is there for its patients with an interdisciplinary team (involving all specialties of the hospital) and is once again certified as a regional trauma center (care of polytrauma patients - seriously and life-threateningly injured patients, e.g. in a traffic accident).

The hospital also has its own laboratory, 24/7 diagnostic imaging (including MRI) and a helipad right next to the emergency department. The Johanniter Blankenhain rescue station is located in the immediate vicinity.
