We are looking for a psychological psychotherapist or a psychologist with an advanced license to practice medicineto start as soon as possible; preferably with an additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG) or an existing interest in completing an additional psycho-oncological qualification on a full-time or part-time basis in the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics.

  • You will work as part of our multi-professional treatment team in our Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics
  • In close coordination with the responsible senior physician, you will take on psychological/psychotherapeutic activities, including therapy planning and documentation
  • You will carry out individual and group therapies independently and plan the therapy
  • Psychological support, clarification and counseling sessions are part of your duties
  • You will be responsible for diagnostics, including initial psychological testing, progression and prognosis diagnostics and assessment
  • Your colleagues will receive your support in the consultation service and in complex treatments on somatic wards - with a focus on palliative care and/or oncology wards in the hospital
  • You will take part in weekly team meetings and case discussions and prepare diagnostic reports and discharge letters

What you bring with you

  • You have a broad professional spectrum and have a degree in psychology (Master's/Diploma) as well as completed training as a psychological psychotherapist (VT/TP/systemic); an additional qualification in psycho-oncology (DKG) would be desirable
  • Committed collaboration in a multi-professional team is important to you and you demonstrate teamwork skills in a multi-professional setting
  • You have experience in leading and conducting psychoeducational group programs for various disorders (e.g. addiction, depression, anxiety)
  • You are interested in cooperating with other medical disciplines at our clinic
  • You are interested in working together with a wide range of outpatient and complementary cooperation partners in the sense of community-based care
  • You are flexible in the organization of your work processes
  • You have empathy for the individual needs of the patients you care for and their relatives
  • You are open to the further development and implementation of modern psychotherapeutic treatment concepts for seriously and chronically ill patients
