Meet our Fresenius Kabi colleague Meng Qing from China! Meng is working as a Production Manager in the Enteral Nutrition Production Department at the Fresenius Kabi Wuxi plant, located right beside the beautiful Taihu Lake. Follow him along as he takes us directly to Wuxi plant and gives some insights into his workday.
Meng is responsible for acquiring more equipment and process technologies to optimize the processes and improve efficiency. In this context, close cooperation with internal teams and adjacent departments is essential.
After arriving at the plant, his first stop is always the production area, where he gets an overview of the production status. His current main task is to lead the FSMP (foods for special medical purposes) production team to guarantee orderly production and ensure the product supply for European and Asia-Pacific markets. Then it's meeting time! Together with his colleagues Meng reviews the improvement actions and discusses current project topics.
When it comes to his job, three aspects are essential: Patience, confidence and ambition. For Meng this means finding a way to make things extraordinary, believing that the company will be better and better and becoming a benchmark in the FSMP field.
In the afternoon, team power is required. Together, Meng and his colleagues have to solve some technical problems and make plans for the coming years. "What I like most is that my team members can actively support me to manage the production work. And the action plans can be well implemented and fed back", says Meng. For him, his job at Fresenius Kabi represents Cooperation, Accumulation and Innovation.
