Head of Enterprise Integration Architecture (m/f/d)

Your Impact

You will define how systems, data, and platforms connect across the enterprise—building a modern, scalable integration landscape that enables speed, flexibility, and innovation.

This role is critical to eliminating fragmentation and establishing integration as a strategic capability, supporting large-scale transformation including various enterprise solutions.

What You Will Drive

• Enterprise-wide integration architecture strategy across API-led, event-driven, streaming, and hybrid patterns

• Definition of target-state architectures and integration roadmaps aligned to business capabilities

• Standardized integration patterns, reference architectures, and reusable assets

• Evolution of the integration platform ecosystem (API management, iPaaS, event brokers)

• Strong architecture governance through design authorities, reviews, and guardrails

• Alignment across application, data, and platform domains to ensure end-to-end consistency

• Definition of standards for security, observability, versioning, and performance

• Measurable improvements in integration quality, reusability, and cost efficiency

• Enablement and coaching of architects and teams on modern integration practices

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise, Solution, or Integration Architecture

• Deep expertise in modern integration patterns (APIs, messaging, event-driven, streaming)

• Hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services)

• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks and modelling (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, ISAM)

• Proven ability to define reference architectures, standards, and governance models

• Experience in complex, global, multi-domain environments

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align senior leaders

• Knowledge of data integration, SAP/non-SAP ecosystems, and cloud environments
