The High Potential Finance Program
Projects in an interdisciplinary environment
With our corporate philosophy of "caring for life", we have set ourselves the goal of improving the quality of life of critically and chronically ill patients.
Our global units offer a variety of opportunities to work in an international environment. As a high potential, you will have the opportunity to take on responsible and creative projects in the finance environment right from the start.
Variety guaranteed
During the HiPo Finance Program you will get to know at least 3 different departments, a department assignment lasts between 5 and 6 months. You will spend part of the program (5-6 months) abroad at one of our worldwide locations. The following applies to each area of activity: We make sure that you can contribute yourself and your strengths in a targeted manner.
We will keep an eye on your development
Throughout the program, you will develop both your professional expertise and your interdisciplinary skills with the support of a personal mentor. You will also continue to develop personally and we will support you with the appropriate seminars & training.
In addition to your professional and personal development, we offer you the opportunity to actively exchange ideas in our large network.

Pave your way to a career in finance with our 18-month high potential finance program. During the program, you will not only learn about the different facets of a leading global healthcare company, but also work independently on projects and tasks with local and global significance for a subsequent successful professional or management career.
Program components
- 18 months program with three department assignments (corporate finance, local finance, parent company Fresenius SE)
- One assignment abroad (possible locations all around the globe)
- Board/management steered project with global significance
- Senior executive mentoring throughout the whole program
- Opening, development and closing week for professional and self development
Your profile
- Finance, economics or strategy background with Master or MBA degree with working experience (1 year) and excellent final grade OR PhD from university/business school and excellent final grade
- Firm knowledge in the area Accounting, Controlling, FP&A or Corporate Finance
- Fluency in English, other languages are beneficial
- Strong interest and willingness to develop a career in finance/strategy in the healthcare industry
- High degree of mobility and flexibility for international employment within Fresenius Kabi
- Strong analytical skills, enthusiasm for complex tasks and solution orientation
- High performance orientation and resilience
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with multicultural and cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced MS office and SAP skills

The Helios Future Talent Trainee Program
Intense from the very first moment
Fresenius Helios has developed a range of special and promising trainee programs for ambitious young professionals. Are you focusing on Management, Finance & Controlling or Purchasing? Or would you like to get started in the area of IT, Care Management or Personnel (Management)? Then you have come to the right place.
Choose your start date and within 24 months, you will be familiar with the various areas in clinics of very different sizes and in different regions and will gain valuable practical experience. You will work as an intern in the wards and actively participate. In this way, you will experience the interesting structures and processes of the functional areas, such as Surgery, Physiotherapy and Sonography, as well as other areas, such as Human Resources, Quality Management or Marketing. You will gain an intensive insight into the workings of a hospital.
With a tailored development plan, we also promote the deepening of your knowledge and the development of your skills in your respective areas of specialization.

The VAMED Trainee Program
Start young
VAMED offers talented young people with outstanding commitment and motivation the opportunity to participate in an 18-month trainee program. The trainee programs in different areas of the company and specialist departments start at regular intervals. You can expect an extensive education combined with a wide range of practical "on the job” experience.
