For our central emergency department at the Emil von Behring Clinic in Berlin-Zehlendorf, we are looking for you at the earliest possible date as a

Nurse (m/f/d)

• Interdisciplinary cooperation with other professional groups (also in emergency situations)
• Initial assessment and triage of our patients
• Communication as the first point of contact for relatives, doctors and therapists
• Applying general and special care procedures, e.g. bandaging/splinting techniques, writing ECGs, taking blood samples, etc.
• Setting treatment priorities and recognizing life-threatening conditions, initiating and carrying out life-saving measures if necessary
• Operating medical equipment in the area of the nursing service

• Successfully completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (m/f/d) or geriatric nurse (m/f/d), preferably with specialist training in emergency care
• Very good communication skills, empathy and reliability
• Structured and conscientious way of working
• Confident handling of medication and its administration methods
• Commitment, a sense of responsibility and ideally a high level of social skills
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
